I dont want to have to buy toys to play some sonic game. But other than that I think that the reboot could really help sonic and sega. I would like to see what comes next. The central point of the movie was that horror movies stick to an overused formula to the point that they now resemble rituals rather than a story and your criticism is that it didn't stick to the horror movie formula enough and is therefore not scary... You clearly don't know your Bond at all. Firstly Craig hasn't invented a new style. The whole thing about the darker and tougher Bond with fewer one-liners is not new at all. Look at Dalton. I still think Licence To Kill is way darker than both Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace. Nothing new has happened since. People have just chosen to ignore Dalton for some reason...1) In the books Bond drinks many kinds of booze - like he did in earlier Bond movies. You have the Vodka Martini, but you also have the Dom Perignon and the Bollinger , Sour Mash, Mojito, Sake and many others. Just to get it straight. In the books he drinks beer sometimes as far as I remember.2) The Jason Bourne thing is universal. Look at every single action movie that comes out now. Even Christopher Nolans Batman is nothing but a Jason Bourne wearing a silly disguise. That's it. The main stream audience doesn't expect anything more than that. 3) You honestly think that Craigs movies were more realistic than On Her Majesty's Secret Service, From Russia With Love, The Living Daylights, For Your Eyes Only and movies like that...? I can't follow you. Quantum Of Solace, to me, is one of the most over the top Bond movies so far. The very climax with the hotel blowing up is no more realistic than the end of Dr. No. Quite the opposite in fact... 4) Common Bond features that I expect to see in the new movie: A Gunbarrel at the very beginning of the movie - just as it has always been. Stylistically it is thee trademark - that and the titlesequence with the theme song - which remains untouched. What else is there...? Bond doesn't smoke and he hasn't touched a cigarette since 1989 - that was in Licence To Kill. the only Bond actors who have smoked cigarettes in their movies (A very important feature in the books) are Sean Connery, George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton - those three I consider the three best Bond actors so far - most loyal to the Ian Flemings books, for many reasons. . . Daniel Craig is my number four, for trying to go back to the books with Casino Royale, though he failed completely with Quantum Of Solace. Pierce Brosnan will be my number five. GoldenEye was Awesome, The World Is Not Enough was good, and Tomorrow Never Dies and especially Die Another Day both sucked hairy balls. Roger Moore will be my least favourite. He was good but he didn't take it seriously and the silly humor of his movies was unnecessary - actually it was blasphemy. Look at how he, Lewis Gilbert and Christopher Wood took on Moonraker. Almost nothing from the book (which is brilliant) made it to the movie (which is the low point of the entire series)5) Where did the music go...? Ever since John Barry left the series in 1987 with The Living Daylights, which I consider one of the best movie scores in cinema history, the Bond scores have been on decline. Michael Kamen did well. I think Eric Serra did very well too. GoldenEye was alternative, fresh, different but good in it's own way, though many people hate that score. David Arnold started out as the electronic version of John Barry. Tomorrow Never Dies had a decent soundtrack with some good cues (The Love theme; 06 Paris and Bond for instance) but also a lot of wall to wall music - that's the latest thing, and i don't approve. The World Is Not Enough had a fucking awesome soundtrack. It was melodic and there wasn't really wall to wall music. It was what I think Barry would have sounded like today, had he still been around. Die Another Day had another good score - very melodic yet very techno driven which i liked. Howercraft Chase was a fantastic piece of action music. Die Another Day however, did feature a lot of Wall to wall music. Look the music up on youtube, and you'll find more than 40 cues... 40 cues to one movie. There are only 15 tracks on the soundtrack.Casino Royale had thee most uninspiring, most nonmelodic and most main stream soundtrack heard in a Bond movie. I would have to go all the way back to 1962, Dr. No to find a soundtrack that borring and... It's just bad... The theme song (You Know My Name) kicked ass though.Quantum Of Solace had a score which was an improvement over Casino Royale, though the movie was not. QOS soundtrack featured some great tracks: Listen to "Time to get out", "Inside man", "No interest in Dominique Greene", "Night at the Opera" and "Camille's Story" - Displace the theme song - What a piece of garbage... Did I say garbage..? Their theme song for TWINE was actually awesome. Never mind. The music for movies in general has taken a direction that I don't like. Where are the John Barry's today? Where are the Ennio Morricone's today...? Where are the Jerry Goldsmith's today? I'm just asking. It makes a movie experience much better. Bond movies in particular. The new Bond movie will have a score made by Thomas Newman, the composer of choice for director Sam Mendes. That ought to be interesting - The franchise needs a break from David Arnold - He'll probably return to the composer's podium later on anyway...6) Where did Bond's brain go...? Craig's Bond (The more realistic Bond as you say) just kicks and punches everyone... In Casino Royale he, without thinking, runs into an embassy, kicks the embassador and blows up the place. In other words, he compromises the british government completely and for what...? to get some bomb maker. The end of QOS is no better. While camille has brain enough to sneak into the hotel in the deser, quietlyt, Bond jumps down onto a car on it's way into a garage which is heavily guarded. He then starts to shoot at everything that moves - very realistic I might say. How intelligent to just run into the line of fire like that. The other Bond's did it accidently. If you'll excuse for saying this, but your "Realistic" Bond, is definitely the most retarded Bond so far. no wonder he can gain such a large audience. The other bond's were probably too Intellectual for the main stream loving masses.7) I would welcome more familiar Fleming Book elements. The Moonraker novel for example, despite the fact that the title has been used, it's relatively untouched. It IS a fantastic story for a movie. Much of The Man With The Golden Gun is relatively untouched as well. look at the second half of Diamonds Are Forever. I think The Spang brothers would make for great villains in a future Bond feature. 8) Monnypenny and Q (Also known as Major Boothroyd) appear very little in the books. No wonder I don't miss 'em much. Monnypenny a little, but Q (Who is going to reappear in the new movie) is not going to be the same, now that Desmond Llewellyn is dead. John Cleese was terrible in that role. really silly. Monnypenny is easy to modernize. Look at Caroline Bliss and Samantha Bond... They were very up to date.9) M... Don't get me wrong, I think Judi Dench is awesome, but for the part of M, there is one little thing - She's female... Not that I've grown tired of her, but I would like a new M - A male one this time. A relatively unknown actor, like Bernard Lee or Robert Brown. That ought to be awesome. Small, old man with a pipe. 10) The last thing I'm gonna write for this one. The director... The franchise should find a director who would sign up for more than just one of these movies at a time. A Terence Young or John Glen kind of director, who knows what Bond should be like and who is dedicated to the movies as a whole and not to one which carries the director's signature as I'm afraid the new one will... I simply hope that Sam Mendes understands that; He is doing a Bond movie, not a Sam Mendes movie... But let us see what happens. Maybe Bond has gained some brains I don't know. One can always hope. I don't need to see the Vodka Martini again. As a matter of fact, if you go back, Roger Moore never ordered one. In two of his movies other people ordered a martini for him. I hope to see a ski chase sometime soon and hear a great score again. But i would also welcome some diving scenes: Where are the sharks by the way...? The piranno fish, the tarantulas, the crocodiles, the snakes or the scorpions...? The villains don't use animals to kill bond anymore. I hope someone will get something out of all this. I wish you all a happy easter.

Re: James Bond: Heineken…Bottled, not Canned

Okay.
